The Bible says a lot about rest. Rest is important for our physical, spiritual and emotional well being. Jesus invites us, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you REST.”
Many of our people are looking forward to a time of rest as we take time for summer vacation. In addition to a time for rest, we trust that vacation time will be a time of blessing with family and friends. We will be away for 4 weeks beginning July 12th until August 11th, enjoying a time of relaxation...we hope!
Above all else, as you take time for personal renewal, remember that God is not on vacation and always longs to hear from you!
