Someone has said, “Many people are good starters but poor
finishers.” Those who run marathons know well the importance of
training the body before the race. Untrained bodies do just as the
above quote states - they start out well but finish poorly. Training
beforehand enables the runner the muscle strength and cardio
strength to finish the race.
The same is true with our ‘journey of faith’. As we take our journey
“On The Road to The Promised Land”, we need to be more than good
starters, we must be good finishers. That being said, starting the
race is of utmost importance. We can’t finish well if we haven’t
started the race.
How do we start on the road to the Promised Land? We do so by
placing our faith and trust in Jesus Christ and follow where he leads.
Have you started the journey? If not, today is a great time to start!
Blessings on all of you today!
